Mini London burns to mark Great Fire of 1666

An art installation of London was set alight to represent the 350th anniversary of the city's Great Fire of 1666.  The fire began at a bakery in Pudding Lane on Sunday, September 2, 1666. Five days later, 80 percent of the city was burnt but less than 10 people died from the flames. The sculpture was designed by American burn artist David Best, who worked in conjunction with Artichoke, a creative company that works with artists to display their work in public areas.
