Paralympian Vlada prepares for Rio

Malta's first female swimmer at the Paralympics, Vlady­slava Kravchenko, will head to Rio on Monday, and the Betsson Group has stepped in to help her reach her destination. The 25-year-old will be the first female Paralympian to represent Malta since 1980, and igaming employer Betsson Group has funded most of her travel costs. During a visit to the Betsson Experience Centre in Ta' Xbiex yesterday, Ms Krav­chenko met Betson CEO and president Ulrik Bengtsson, who believes the Paralympics are an incredibly important global event and says giving back to the community especially in sport means a lot to the company. In wishing her every success, he assured her they would all be watching and cheering Vlada on. Malta Paralympic Committee president Nathan Farrugia noted that the Games are of global importance.
