20 people arrested in drug related offences

On New Year's Eve twenty people were arrested by the Police for drug related offences.

One of the offenders, aged 19, was found to be in possession of 90 suspected ecstasy pills and a number of bags containing a  cocaine, which the Police statment says were intended to be sold.

The other nineteen offenders' ages ranged for 19 to 38 and were arrested in different localities, namely Valleta, Rabat, St Julian's and San Gwann.

The offenders were found to be in possession of cocaine, cannabis resin, cannabis grass and ecstasy.
