On New Year's eve two people committed a robbery at a car wash on Mdina Road, Attard. The offenders attempted to break open a number of machines and steal the money within them.
A police statement said that they arrived at the car wash at 11pm after receiving a report that a theft was being committed. Once they arrived they saw the suspect, a 44 year old male leaving the car wash and entering a car driven by a 42 year old woman.
Police investigations are ongoing.
