A man is in hospital with serious injuries after he slipped and fell in Marsaxlokk this afternoon, the police said.
The 45-year-old of Bidnija was found unconscious on the road at 2.30pm.
A medical team gave him first assistance and he was later taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.
