A 39-year-old woman suffered serious injury and a 4-year-old boy was slightly injured when a car lost control and crashed into a parked lorry in Qrendi earlier today.
The police said the woman, who is from Qrendi, lost control of her Mazda Demio in Siggiewi Road, at around 1:15pm. The car crashed into a Seddon Atkinson truck. The four-year old boy was also in the Mazda.
The woman and the boy were taken to Mater Dei hospital, where later the woman was certified as suffering from grievous injuries and the 4 year old suffered slight injuries.
Police investigation is still on going.
