69-year-old man grievously injured after being hit by car near Mater Dei Hospital entrance

An accident at the entrance of Mater Dei Hospital has left a 69-year-old man from Tarxien grievously injured, after he was hit by a Honda Fit.

The accident occurred at around 9.30 am, and the vehicle, driven by a 35-year-old man from Mtarfa, hit the elderly man, as well as a 67-year-old woman from Tarxien, whose injuries are not yet known.
