New collective agreement signed between General Workers Union and Quintano Foods

The General Workers Union has signed a new collective agreement on behalf of Quintano Foods Ltd employees.

Quintano Foods Ltd forms part of the Farsons Group of Companies. Through this agreement, the employees will benefit from a general improvement in working conditions, as well as in salaries.

GWU Hospitality section Secretary Kenny Muscat said that the agreement covers the years 2017 - 2021, said that a work practices restructure also took place, in order to reflect the realities of the workplace, which will also help the company operate efficiently.

Chief Executive of the Group Norman Aquilina said that this agreement shows the good relationship that exists between the company, and the GWU. He said that this agreement also shows the trust the company has in its workers.
