The government will provide Rainbow Support Services with €135,000 over the next three years.
Rainbow Support Services is an organization that gives support to the LGBTIQ community in Malta.
The announcement was made after Minister for Social Solidarity Michael Farrugia signed an agreement with the operators of Rainbow Support Services, the Malta Gay Rights Movement.
Gabi Calleja, who is the coordinator for the Malta Gay Rights Movement, said the increase in funds will enable them to grow and improve their long term vision.
The Minister told a press conference that the agreement is yet another deal that has seen the ministry work with NGOs.
