The police are investigating a video which showed a man and woman involved in sexual acts in a van, with the woman wearing a Maltapost T-shirt.
The video has been the talk of the town over the past two days after it was released on the social media.
In a statement, Maltapost said "the incident of the alleged video is being tackled with utmost respect, rights and confidentiality towards all concerned. MaltaPost invariably ensures that such situations concerning its staff members are given full attention.
"The Company is informed that investigations are being carried out by the Police authorities and consequently these should be allowed take their course.
"The public will understand that MaltaPost is itself altogether extraneous to the incident."
