The former Pilatus Bank employee turned whistle-blower, whose revelations have brought Malta to a standstill, has spoken with The Malta Independent on Sunday, giving a detailed account of her story to journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia.
The Russian woman, who volunteered herself to speak to inquiring Magistrate Aaron Bugeja on Friday out of her own free will, even though her identity had not been disclosed by Daphne Caruana Galizia who had testified the previous day, is now under heavy fire from the Labour media, led by the Prime Minister's consultant and blogger Glenn Bedingfield, after her identity was discovered through the bank's close relationship with the Prime Minister's Office.
Prime Minister Joseph Muscat has said that he relishes the news that the whistleblower has come forward to testify, while his closest aids are going out of their way to tarnish her credibility.
The exclusive interview will be published in tomorrow's The Malta Independent on Sunday.
