Two children hit by car in Fgura; 12-year-old girl suffers grievous injuries

Two children were hit by a car early this morning in Fgura, with a 12-year-old girl suffering from grievous injuries.

The incident occurred at 8.45 am, on Vjal il-Kottoner.

Police officers were informed and went on site. The girl, and a three-year-old boy were hit by a Ranault Megane driven by a 46-year-old Fgura resident.

An ambulance was called and both children were taken to hospital. While the girl is suffering from grievous injuries, the young boy only suffered slight injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
