MCAST's new academic year has started with over 6,400 students currently following full-time courses in one of MCAST's three Colleges, namely Foundation, Technical and University.
The new academic year is marked with Freshers' Week, an annual event organized to provide new students with an introduction to different aspects of MCAST college life. During Freshers' Week students are introduced to several student services as well as the different student organizations on campus.
Several activities and games are being held for students to meet and mingle with fellow students, whilst having fun and learning more about life on campus. Several NGOs as well as commercial entities have set up stands and are providing their services and opportunities of employment to students.
Today, President Marie-Louise ColeiroPreca visited the college. Prime Minister Joseph Muscat and Nationalist Party leader Adrian Delia will visit the college and meet new MCAST students on campus on Wednesday.
The College is still accepting applications for enrollment into full-time courses. Anyone interested may apply till this Friday 4 October 2017. Applications will be received at the Students' House, MCAST Main Campus in Paola between 8:30am and 12:00pm. Gozitan applicants may apply at the MCAST Gozo Campus, JF De Chambray Street, Ghajnsielem.
