The GWU and Wasteserv have reached an agreement after the union had declared an industrial dispute.
The GWU previously said that Wasteserv kept dragging its feet on unpaid allowances owed to workers. The agreement reached, the GWU said, means that all the arrears will be paid.
The GWU said that industrial action has been called off and thanked the Environment Minister for intervening as a mediator.
