Prime Minister Joseph Muscat this evening formally invited Nationalist Party Leader Adrian Delia to nominate a person of trust to form part of the Brexit Taskforce.
Speaking in parliament this evening, Muscat said that the task force is made of persons who are not political, but rather, technical within the field.
"If you would like to propose someone who would help get business to Malta, I am formally inviting you to nominate a person of trust," he said.
Muscat's offer was said in reaction to Delia's query regarding representatives in the taskforce.
Last November, Muscat appointed his Special Envoy for Investment Promotion Joseph Zammit Tabona to chair the newly set up Malta-UK Business Promotion Taskforce which will be responsible for business promotion of Malta within the UK.
