A motorcyclist was seriously injured on Tuesday afternoon after an accident involving his bike and two cars in Birkirkara, the police said this morning.
The accident happened on the Birkirkara by-pass at 4.25pm.
The two drivers, a 74-year-old Birkirkara resident and a 24-year-old Frenchman, who were driving a Hyundai Excel and Peugeot 107 respectively, were unhurt.
The biker, a 48-year-old of Birkirkara, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
