A 74-year-old woman has suffered grievous injuries after suffering burns which were caused that her gas heater.
A police statement reported that officers were called to a residence Triq il-Koppla in Fgura at 4:30 pm.
The victim was taken to Mater Dei hospital. A magisterial inquiry is underway and is being overseen by Magistrate Micallef Stafrace.
An investigation is ongoing.
