A man was seriously injured last night after he was hit by a car in Hamrun, the police said.
The accident took place at around midnight in St Vincent Street.
The 27-year-old was hit by a car driven by a 20-year-old woman of Hamrun.
He was taken to the Floriana polyclinic and later transferred to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.
