A young woman was seriously injured when the car she was driving hit an electricity pole in Rabat on Sunday evening, the police said.
The accident took place in the area known as tas-Salib at 7.15pm.
The 23-year-old who resides in Rabat was driving a Kia Mentor. Members of the Civil Protection Department were called in because the woman was trapped in the car.
