Two flights were diverted to Catania because of bad weather this morning.
The Air Malta flight from was due to land at Malta International Airport at 11.25am.
A British Airways flight from Gatwick was also forced to land in Catania and is now expected in Malta at 1.50pm, according to the MIA website.
