Over 100 vehicles were inspected by the police in Gozo on Wednesday, with officers fining or cautioning drivers over various offences.
In a statement, the police said officers from the traffic and district branches carried out a number of inspections around the island, particularly in the areas of Xewkija, Nadur and Rabat.
Several drivers were fined for various offences, including driving without a seat belt or without valid license and insurance, speeding and carrying more passengers than allowed.
