An Indian 39-year-old sailor was airlifted to Mater Dei Hospital after he suffered serious injuries following a fall on a ship which was sailing in Maltese waters, the police said.
The sailor was brought to land on an Armed Forces of Malta helicopter, and an ambulance transported him to hospital at around 6pm on Monday.
