Boy, 5, injured by lioness at Montekristo

A five-year-old boy suffered injuries this afternoon when he was attacked by a lioness at Montekristo park. The park was open today for a hunting fair. The boy was taken to hospital by his parents.  He is suffering back and neck injuries which the police described as slight. The owners of the park refused to comment. In November, a three-year-old boy was seriously injured by a tiger that was taken out for a "walk" by its handlers in the same 'zoo'.
