MotoGP: Marc Marquez won the Argentine MotoGP last night ahead of Yamaha's Valentino Rossi and Honda rider Dani Pedrosa. The Spaniard had put Honda on pole after a dramatic day which resulted in the replacement of the rear tyres available to the riders. Rossi and world champion Jorge Lorenzo lined up on the front row but the latter failed to finish yesterday. The fourth free practice session on Saturday was restarted twice after Britain's Scott Redding suffered a problem with his Michelin rear tyre that damaged his Ducati. Athletics: Cyprian Kotut ran a personal best time of two hours, seven minutes and 11 seconds to win the 40th Paris marathon yesterday, the Kenyan backing up the half-marathon title he captured in the French capital last month. The event was held under tight security following the Paris attacks in November and last month's bombings in Brussels. Kotut's compatriot Visiline Jepkesho won the women's race in 2.25:52. Tennis: Top seed Novak Djokovic continued his domination of men's tennis with a 6-3 6-3 victory over Japan's Kei Nishikori in the final of the Miami Open in Florida last night. Djokovic dropped serve in the first game but it was pretty much one-way...
