Man, woman injured as car crashes into tree at Paola

A man and a woman were injured this morning when the car they were in crashed into a tree in Luqa Road, Paola, the police said.

The accident happened at 7,15am when the driver of the car, a 28-year-old man of Zabbar, lost control of the vehicle. The driver suffered slight injuries while the woman, 44 of Zabbar, was grievously hurt.
