The police are this morning expected to arraign a Maltese businessman who had allegedly absconded from Malta several years ago. The man, Neville Spiteri, is expected to be charged with defrauding a number of people of more than €100,000. He is also expected to be charged with other crimes, including forgery. Sources close to the investigation told the Times of Malta that the man, who is a contractor, that he was localised in Dubai a few weeks ago when intense investigations were under way. He was arrested, through the cooperation of Dubai police forces and brought to Malta under arrest. He will appear in court at around 11am.
