Zenga says Wolves move is not a gamble

New Wolves boss Walter Zenga has dismissed suggestions his move to Molineux is a gamble. The former Italy international was a shock appointment on Saturday, less than 12 hours after the club announced they had sacked Kenny Jackett. Zenga joined a week before the start of the Sky Bet Championship season, with Wolves heading to Rotherham on Saturday, following last week's buyout of the club by Chinese group Fosun. Wolves are the 56-year-old's 10th club in the last 10 years but Zenga insisted, despite being a Championship rookie, he is not a leap in the dark. He said: "No, why? Why is it a risk? Don't take it from the Internet that everything is right because the Internet is a good thing in 2016 but it can also be the worst thing. "This is not the moment to explain the reasons why. Some time I can tell you I moved (from a job) because for sixth months I didn't receive a salary but the Internet doesn't mention this. "It doesn't matter how long. It's the result which depends on the length of the contract. If the coach is working well, this is the point. "It's an amazing club and I will do my best to give my knowledge and passion to them." Joao Teixeira is close to signing from Porto...
