A Libyan man was seriously injured this morning during a fight in St Julian's, the police said.
The incident took place in St George's Road at 6.30am.
The 20-year-old resident of Sliema was taken to hospital to be treated to facial injuries.
The police did not say if it is holding people for questioning.
