The picture of Jesus has been peeled off a billboard set up at the Msida skate park by New York Best pizza.
The 12-metre display showed Jesus Christ and his 12 Apostles eating a pizza, burgers and chips and drinking milkshakes.
Daniel Mercieca's artwork raised eyebrows with many remarking on the social media that the idea was in bad taste.
