Air Malta flights delayed due to technical reasons

Today's Air Malta flight KM 394 from Malta to Amsterdam returned to Malta as a precautionary measure due to technical reasons, the airline said in a statement.

The aircraft landed normally in Malta this morning. Air Malta engineers are currently servicing this aircraft with the aim to return it to service as soon as possible, it added.

Flight KM394 is scheduled to depart Malta International Airport at 12:40pm. Passengers scheduled to travel on KM 394 and the return flight KM395 are being offered all the necessary assistance and support.

Air Malta would like to note that a number of flights for today could be delayed because of this issue.

A spokesman for Air Malta said that the airline gave utmost importance to the safety and well-being of its clients and crew and is doing its utmost to operate the flights with minimal disruptions.

The airline apologised for any inconvenience caused by circumstances beyond its control. Affected passengers are requested to visit www.airmalta.com for further updates.
