Corpse found at sea in Gozo identified

The lifeless body that was found in the Xatt l-Aħmar area of Għajnsielem in Gozo has been identified.

TVM named the man as John Grima, 70, of Xlendi.

The man was a fishing enthusiast.

Grima, who lived on his own, had been missing for the past few days, the national broadcaster said. His fishing equipment was found near the water.

A magisterial inquiry has been launched.
