A Hungarian man was seriously injured after he was hit by a car in St Julian's on Tuesday evening, the police said this morning.
The accident took place in Church Street at 9.30pm.
The 38-year-old Hungarian was hit by a Toyota Yaris driven by a 23-year-old woman of Safi.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
