Opposition Leader Adrian Delia files judicial protest over VGH deal

Opposition Leader Adrian Delia has filed a judicial protest in the name of the PN Parliamentary Group over the Vitals Global Healthcare hospitals deal

Holding a press conference in front of the law courts, Delia argues that VGH did not meet its obligations, and notes that action by the Lands Authority should thus be taken.

Delia noted that the scope of the transfer of the property through the concession was for the construction of a medical school, and educational facilities in consultation with government, research and development facilities in the health sector, in a Maltese and Gozo medical campus, the construction and operation of a regional primary care hub in the Gozo hospital, the modernisation of the Gozo hospital etc.
