PD to submit amendments to eliminate injustices in pensions law

The Partit Demokratiku will be submitting changes to the pensions law to remove cruel injustices and for the government to implement what it promised in its electoral manifesto.

Writing on Facebook, PD MP Marlene Farrugia said that the party will be demanding justice for all, including women who raise their children only to end up with a low pension.

The Labour Party, in its manifesto, had pledged to remove anomalies in the law which hurt many women.

The PD will now be presenting amendments for these anomalies to be corrected.
