An individual has sent in photos showing a severely exposed seat on an Air Malta aircraft.
The photos show the exposed plywood and metal frame of the seat, with no support or cover between the physical frame and the cushion.
They were taken this morning on the Air Malta flight to Vienna, a two-and-a-half hour journey.
The person who sent in the photos said complaints about the state of the seat were made to the crew on the flight, who had insisted there was nothing wrong.
After the individual pressed on, the crew provided extra pillows. The person's seat was not changed in spite of there being available places, the passenger said.
