A 65-year-old man from Birkirkara was seriously injured on Wednesday after he fell from a height of two stories inside a construction site.
The accident took place in Triq Santa Rita, Birkirkara, at around 1215, the police said.
The man was assisted by members of the Civil Protection Department and paramedics from Mater Dei Hospital.
Magistrate Neville Camilleri is holding an inquiry.
