Woman grievously injured as vehicle moved forward while she was trying to board

A 68-year-old woman from Mosta suffered grievous injuries after she fell while trying to get into a car.

The accident took place Triq il-Kungress Ewkaristiku at around 9.40am.

The woman was tryint to get into a private car which, for some reason moved forward.

She was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.

The police are investigating.
