Burdensome

I have learnt that Virtu Ferries have been kind enough to grant a permit for animals travelling with their owners to be allowed on the outside passenger deck shut up in cages. This has been a very magnanimous gesture on the part of Virtu Ferries. The thing is, though, these pets cannot weigh more than nine kilos, including the cage. At this point, I was wondering whether, since half of the population of Malta, including myself, is overweight, shall we also have to travel in the catamaran garage?
