The pressure group Kenniesa once again has called on the Prime Minister's chief of staff Keith Schembri to appear before the PANA committee investigating the rule of law.
The PANA committee will be in Malta between Thursday and Friday, but Schembri has so far not said whether he will attend a scheduled meeting.
"Keith Schembri continues to ignore the PANA Committee's invitation to answer any questions on corruption and money laundering being held on Friday 1st December at 12:15 at Europe House, Valletta. Should he abstain from Friday's meeting, this would be the third invitation he would have turned down," the group said.
"Keith Schembri is being given yet another chance to say his version of the story or discuss anything he might have information of. If Schembri is indeed innocent, what is he so afraid of?"
"Last Sunday, Government's Head of Communications, Kurt Farrugia thought that his intimidation and bullying on social media would silence us, and yet, here we are with a second reminder to Keith Schembri. How many reminders is it going to take to get the Prime Minister's Chief of Staffto take notice?", the group said.
