Work on the tunnel between Malta and Gozo will start before the end of the legislature, Prime Minister Joseph Muscat said this evening.
Interviewed in Gozo, Muscat said that an Italian company was studying the topography of the channel from where the tunnel will pass.
He said he had requested an investigation into why energy bills were more expensive than they should be, insisting that the price the consumer was paying was less that under the previous administration.
