The police have arrested two men after one kilogramme of heroin was found hidden in a chicken coop and cocaine was discovered in a car.
In a statement, the police said that officers conducted a search in a farm in Siggiewi where the heroin was discovered. They later found the cocaine in a car being used by a 33-year-old man of Qormi.
The man and the farm owner, a 42-year-old man of Siggiewi, were taken to the police headquarters for questioning.
Magistrate Gabriella Vella is conducting an inquiry.
The two men are expected to be arraigned in court tomorrow.
