A woman was seriously injured this morning when she fell a height of two metres in a ditch in Hamrun, the police said.
The accident took place in Mountbatten Street at 11.30am.
The 57-year-old wamsn was given first assistance by members of the Civil Protection Department and was later taken to Mater Dei Hospital with serious injuries.
