A 55-year-old man from San Ġwann is in a critical condition following a stabbing during an alleged robbery at an Armier boathouse. The police said they were asked to call at theboathouse at 10.10pm last night. There, they found the victim on the ground in a pool of blood. He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. A 34-year-old woman from Swieqi, who was injured in the same incident after she was bound by the same agressors, suffered slight injuries. The police said that although investigations were still underway, the aggressors claimed they were attacked by three hooded persons who also stole the man's car. This was later found at l-Aħrax tal-Mellieħa. An inquiry is being held.
