Husband and father of two dead women in jail for double homicide

The husband and father of the mother and daughter found dead in a field in the limits of Gudja today, has been arrested, this newsroom is informed.

The two women were reported missing last Tuesday. On Thursday, the police had made the announcement that the two missing women were Marija Lourdes Bonnici and her daughter Angele Bonnici, aged 30.

TVM reports that the two were found with gunshot wounds. They were also partially buried. They had last been seen at their Ghaxaq home on Tuesday 26 March, at around 7am.
