Investigations into a 33-year-old North African man who was being held by police over the 33-year-old St Julian's woman who was found dead on Friday have had to stop as he requires mental care, a police statement read.
The woman, identified as 41-year-old Caroline Magri, was found dead in her bed at her apartment in Ta' Giorni on Friday, after reportedly being stabbed to death
Police said, in a statement, that at around noon investigations into the man had to come to an abrupt halt due to the aforementioned reason.
