Broadcasting Authority agrees with PN over power station adverts on PBS

The Broadcasting Authority has decided in favour of the PN's complaints with regard to adverts about the new power station being aired on PBS.

The Broadcasting Authority has said that government adverts on PBS deal with current public policy which includes opposing divergent views. They said that the PN has completely different views on the power station from the views held by government as seen in the adverts on the national station.

As a result, the PN has been given ten minutes on PBS through 30 second informative spots over a seven day period. The content of these spots must deal with the government adverts which have already been aired.
