Union work

In his Facebook comments, Noel Abela, the Education and Employment Ministry's chief of staff, said (about the Union Ħaddiema Magħqudin), among other things: "Now they speak up, these cowards." He said the union members should be ashamed of themselves for failing to speak for 25 long years, referring to the previous Nationalist administrations. I think he should be reminded that the UĦM did not interfere in the General Workers' Union work at the time. The GWU was doing such a good job. This article is part of our premium content.
