I am a regular visitor to the Maltese Islands and a regular reader of the Times of Malta here in the UK. In this age of so much religious intolerance, it is so reassuring to read in this newspaper that Muslims and Christians in Malta joined together in an act of worship and supplication for the grace of our Prime Mover in anticipation of the gift of rain. The joining together, in an act of worship by divergent faiths, sponsored by the Maltese people of Christian and Muslim faiths, is an example to all monotheist believers and more significantly, to those of little or no faith.
