MSE index trend higher

The Malta Stock Exchange Index (MSE) continued to trend higher, extending its streak of weekly gains to three – up by 0.91 per cent to 4,528.666 points, after failing to sustain an an eight-year high of 4,540.44 points reached last Wednesday. This followed strong gains across shares in the financial services sector, primarily Bank of Valletta plc (BOV) and HSBC Bank Malta plc, as well as RS2 Software plc.
