Associate Director at Oxford Economics Henry Worthington to address EY’s event on Maltese economy

EY Malta, in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and the University of Malta, will be organising another event in the EY economics series on the Maltese economy.

Third in the series, it will be held on Thursday 5th May, from 8:30am till 1:00pm at Xara Lodge in Rabat. The keynote guest speaker will be Henry Worthington, Associate Director at Oxford Economics, who will delve into the results of a study conducted by Oxford Economics on the economic impacts of Brexit.

Mr Worthington is part of Oxford Economics' consultancy division, managing a team of economists in London across a diverse range of projects featuring economic impact modelling, macroeconomic modelling and forecasting and scenario analysis.

In this regard, Henry Worthington project managed OE's research of the economic implications of Brexit. He was educated at the University of Cambridge, where he gained a first-class degree in Economics, becoming the William Stone Scholar of Economics, and an MPhil in Modern Society and Global Transformations.

The speech will be followed by a team-debate focusing on the Maltese property market. Traditionally, property has been considered as the safe bet investment in Malta, registering year-on-year price inflation.
